Charles started his career in the insurance industry in 1984. His focus early on was the needs of
the retirement community. He found that many clients, after an initial meeting with the typical
attorney, stockbroker or insurance representative, were frustrated with the lack of follow-up they
received. So, Charles developed  a network of financial professionals to service the long term
needs of the clients without “nickel and diming” them along the way.


CLA USA, INC., is a Financial Services Company that helps clients with financial planning.
Focusing on a conservative, safe approach to planning with an asset prevention philosophy,
CLA USA, INC. has planners that specialize in everything from IRA’s to Long Term Care

The mission of CLA ESTATE SERVICES, INC. is to make the process of estate planning as easy

Dan started his insurance career in October 1981 at age 19 with Bankers Life and Casualty, a
captive company. It was there he learned basic selling, prospecting and marketing techniques.
Bankers Life is a multiple line company offering multiple insurance products. Within 5 years,
he was promoted to a management position were he was responsible for recruiting and
training new agents. In May 1990 he made the decision to leave Bankers Life to become an
Independent Agent. In 1991, once established as an independent agent, he decided to open his
own agency, National Marketing Group. Over the next 18 years, Dan hired and trained
independent agents from all over the Midwest. National Marketing Group has grown into a
National Sales Leader with over 15 million in annual sales volume.


In October 2008 Dan joined The United Independent Wholesale Insurance Network as a
Managing Partner. Dan is now in charge of all Marketing and Administration duties for
UandIWIN.
